The Moon holds the Silver of our emotions and minds.
The Sun holds the Gold of our hearts and souls.
The Earth is our salt – our grounding, and with the Moon and Sun, completes a sacred alchemical alembic – or container where we can fulfill our soul’s commitment of service to the health of our planet and a participant in an awakened, peaceful global community.
We live within this alchemical container.
We refine our days and years within the protective and nurturing distillation of this colossal natural realm of Moon, Sun, and Earth.
In seeking spiritual alchemy – our spirit is transmuted – freed from fear, limiting personal beliefs and lack of self-acceptance.
The gradually changing reflective light that we know as the moon’s phases, provides a guiding symbolic template for personal and collective birth, nurturance, growth, fruition, and dissolution into seed form. This light is dependent on the changing relationship between the Earth, Sun, and Moon. The light and darkness display its repeating rhythm for us as the relationship changes in a never-ending pattern.
Connect with the moon right now – perhaps you may know where it is in your sky at this very moment. Visualize a shimmering thread that forms a loop of sacred and alchemical containment as it goes the full distance around you on Earth, the moon and out around the Sun and back to yourself on Earth.
This alchemical, sacred cycle of containment regulates our ocean’s tides, our cycles of blood, and all cycles of life and regeneration here on Earth.
We see an ancient, repeating pattern of light and darkness calls to us, inviting us again today-For self-reflection from inner knowledge – and – supporting us to experience a state of intuitive listening.
In our journaling meditation today, we immerse ourselves in the flow of this alchemical container that the Moon, Sun and Earth create together.
We will also visualize the process of life within this alchemical container through the life of a plant from germination to flower to seed,
and align with the recurring and regenerative cycle of nature that we share with all living beings.
