Intuitive Moon Journaling: Pisces 2021 astrological guided meditation

Intuiting the Phases: Pisces 2021 Astrological Moon Journaling Guided Meditation

Welcome dear friends, to this guided meditation for the Pisces moon cycle 2021.

We will be doing our astrological intuitive Moon Journal, using universal time.  The dates are March 13th, 2021, through April 12th, 2021. We will journal together in a meditative approach, open to our intuition and create initial journaling phrases to align with the moon’s phases. We can open our compassionate Hearts toward the highest and best for this moon cycle together.

Gather your journaling tools – natal chart too!

Gather your journal, pen or pencil to write your own emergent, intuitive journaling sentences during our meditative session. After the meditation, as the moon phases unfold, you can go back to your sentences to add to or update your intentions.

The moon cycle of reflected light and darkness

The cycle of the moon represents the cycle of growth and decay and regeneration.  A good way to envision it is to follow the cycle of plant life from germination to flower to seed.  The cycle of darkness and reflected light is imprinted within all life on Earth. The repeating pattern of light and darkness of the moon’s phases invite us to reflect on our own inner knowledge, helping to experience a state of intuitive listening and alignment with the ever-changing cycle of nature.

For this meditative journaling, astrological knowledge is not necessary although helpful.  If you are new to astrology you can explore as you go, developing and deepening your knowledge of astrology through your own self-observation, your journaling and engaging in your own life.  If you have more advanced astrological skills, bring your own resources and knowledge base to this intuitive journaling.  The sentences that you compose –  your intuitive journal entries –  can also be aligned with the tarot, oracle cards or affirmation decks. The astrological degrees of the Moon are calculated in tropical zodiac using universal time. This makes for easy conversion to your own time zone.

You can do this journaling with or without your own natal birth chart. Using your natal chart can provide a personalized journaling experience by identifying the relevant House of the chart for each moon phase.  Also knowing your natal moon phase, your natal moon sign and degree offer additional opportunities to personalize your journaling.

Intuition and grounding

A brief note about weaving intuition into your daily life: sometimes staying constantly in tune with intuition and the empathic process can be overwhelming. A system of grounding and balance is required so please find a grounding exercise that works for your individual needs. This guided journaling meditation is not meant as a substitute for professional mental health or spiritual counseling.

For grounding and focus before we begin, let’s take this next moment to do some slow deep breathing using your own rhythm.  Listen for the chime to signal that we will begin our journaling.

New Moon in Pisces

At the New Moon, we look at what is emerging.  What am I open to for the new cycle?  What am I becoming aware of now? This is a contemplative phase where we can set our intentions for the whole cycle ahead. In the life of the plant the germination of the seed is completing, and the tiny sprout is beginning underground.  The Sun, the sign of Leo, and the fifth house are all associated with every new moon phase.  We open to our creative and self-expression to set intentions for the cycle ahead.
